How do I obtain a PIN?

Call BT Client Services on 0800 800 661 (+64 9 367 3300 from outside New Zealand).

We will provide you with a form that you will need to complete before your PIN is issued.

Your PIN will arrive by mail within 10 business days of your request being received.

If you have more than one investor number you will be issued with a separate PIN for each investor number.

For maximum security, please ensure your PIN is kept separately from your Investor Number.

For security reasons My BT Portfolio will lock your account from access if there have been three unsuccessful log in attempts.

Please wait at least 30 minutes before attempting to log in again.

What do I do if I lose or forget my PIN?

If you have lost your PIN call BT Client Services on 0800 800 661 immediately to request that your PIN be cancelled. You will also be required to follow up your request with a signed written instruction. BT Client Services are unable to issue a PIN over the phone.

A new PIN will arrive by mail within 10 business days of your application being received.

Can I change my PIN?

My BT Portfolio’s current security procedures do not allow you to select or change your PIN.
